Located minutes from downtown Winnipeg, Assiniboine Park Zoo provides visitors with the opportunity to interact with animal species from all corners of the globe. With over 80 park-like acres to explore, the Zoo has been a favourite destination for families, tourists, school groups, and animal lovers for over a century.

Holiday Hours

Assiniboine Park Zoo is open 364 days a year.
We operate with reduced hours on the following dates:

November 11: Open 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
December 24: Open 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
December 25: CLOSED
December 31: Open 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

BULK RATES
Booklets of 13 tickets can be purchased at the Assiniboine Park Conservancy office in the Park Pavilion. Purchase 12 tickets at the group discount rate and get one free ticket.

Getting Around

For your comfort and convenience we have toboggans (in winter) and strollers, wheelchairs and scooters (in the spring/summer/fall) available to rent during your Zoo visit. To minimize wear and tear, availability of seasonal items will be at the discretion of the Zoo staff and dependant on weather conditions.
