Summer Camp (July and August)

This summer, let your kids go wild at Zoo Camp! Send them to the only Zoo Camp in town where they will enjoy a one-of-a-kind adventure while reconnecting with nature in a fun and educational setting. Something big is coming to Zoo Camp this summer! Scheduled to open in late May, Dinosaurs Alive!®, presented by Artis REIT, will feature 15 lifesize, animatronic dinosaurs along a forested trail in the northwest area of the Zoo. This exciting exhibit will be part of the Zoo Camp experience this summer only!

Summer Camp FAQ

Weekly camps will alternate between two themes.

Fantastic Beasts (Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9)

Campers will travel the world and take a trip through time, learning about the fantastic beasts of the past and present. Whether they are big or small, have teeth or claws, we will discover what makes these creatures so amazing.

Wild Survivors (Weeks 2, 4, 6 and 8)

Hear the call of the nature as we discover the amazing creatures at the Zoo and learn what it takes to survive in the wild. Lessons from the past and present will be used to help campers understand how animals adapt to survive and how they can make a difference to help wildlife in the future.
