Tourette Canada will host the annual Trek for Tourette 5K Walk at Assiniboine Park and in communities across Canada on March 24, 2019. Registration will take place at 9:00 a.m. at the Duck Pond Shelter, and the trek will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Join the Manitoba Firefighters Burn Fund for the fifth annual Go For The Burn Run in support of the Mamingwey Burn Survivor Society. This event features a 10K run, 5K run or walk, a 3K youth run and a 3K walk. The day will begin with the 10K run at 9:00 a.m. at the Event Tent located near The Pavillion.

Join Diabetes Canada for the 5th annual Lace Up for Diabetes run/walk at Assiniboine Park. Lace up for Diabetes is designed for serious runners, families, corporate teams, and individuals that want to support someone living with diabetes. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m., with 3K, 5K and 10K races beginning at 9:00. This event will take place at the Event Tent located near The Pavillion.

The Manitoba Marathon will host the Jog in the Park event on May 8, 2019 as part of the Champions in Training School Program. The event will begin at 10:30 at the Lyric Field and last about 1 hour. Schools can register for this event by calling (204) 415-4517 x 23.

The Winnipeg Police Service will be hosting the 15th Annual Foodfare-Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon in support of the Canadian Cancer Society at Assiniboine Park. The half marathon and two-person relay will start at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:10. All activities will take place at the Ultimate Frisbee fields

Join Physio Fit Run for its 29th annual event in support of the The Manitoba Riding for the Disabled Association. Physio Fit Run offers a 10K, 5K, 3K, and 1K Kids Run. Race Kit pick up begins at 7:00 a.m., and races start at 8:00 a.m. This event will take place in the Event Tent located near The Pavilion.

Join the Arthritis Society for the 10th annual Walk for Arthritis. This walk raises funds for research, programs, and services for Manitobans of all ages living with arthritis. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. at the Lyric Field, and the walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. Make a difference by registering today!

CancerCare Manitoba invites you to join them for Challenge for Life 2.0 where you can choose to Walk It for 20k or Work It for 200 non-continuous minutes of fitness! Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by Opening Ceremonies at the Lyric Stage at 8:30, and the Walk It and Work It challenges at 9:00. Closing Ceremonies will take place at 1:15 p.m. at the Lyric Stage.

The annual Manitoba Marathon will be running through Assiniboine Park on Sunday, June 16. The race begins at 7:00 a.m. at Chancellor Matheson Road near the University of Manitoba, and racers will cross the finish line inside Investors Group Field!

The Winnipeg Humane Society Paws in Motion walk, presented by Fairmont Winnipeg, is Manitoba's largest walk and celebration of all pets, and the Humane Society's largest fundraising event of the year. In 2019, we will also be celebrating the Winnipeg Humane Society's 125th Birthday!

This event will have plenty of fun activities for you and your pet, plus giveaways and prizes at the celebration on Lyric Field and at Paw Stops along the walk route. The walk route is 2.5 km, or take a 1.75 km short cut. All leashed pets are welcome, and you can participate with or without a pet. This event will take place at Lyric Field beginning with registration at 8:00 a.m., and the walk at 10:30 a.m.

Join the Manitoba Brain Injury Association for the 15th Annual MBIA Walk at Assiniboine Park. This event will feature a 5K and 3K fun run, followed by a BBQ picnic with entertainment. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m., and the race will begin at 11:00 a.m. This event will take place at the Event Tent located near The Pavilion.

Join MEC for Race THREE of the MEC Winnipeg Race Series 2019 on October 27, at Assiniboine Park. This event will begin with the 10K start at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:45, and 3K at 8:50. This race will begin and end at the Conservatory Parking Lot. Dress up is strongly encouraged in this Halloween Classic race!
